Our Recovery Community StepByStepRecovery, Inc. is a six-month to two-year recovery community, conveniently located in Lawrenceville, GA, for males and females 18 years and older needing short or long term residential living. StepByStep utilizes a phase system as an essential part of recovery. The purpose is to provide goals, teaching people not only how to "stay clean and sober", but how to change their old ways and learn new behaviors. We have three transistional phases that help each resident achieve responsible goals in their ongoing lives:Phase One (90 Days) - Teaches responsibility and accountability in the recovery community. Introduction to the 12 steps and principles while gainfully employed.
Phase Two (6 Months) - Exercising responsibility and accountability consistently to learn how to integrate recovery behaviors in everyday living.
Phase Three (9 Months to 24 Months) - Preparation for transition back into society with a solid foundation in recovery, sufficiently self-supporting with tools, values and beliefs to continue the lifelong journey of recovery.
(Aftercare) Have continued to demonstrate responsibility and self sufficiency and ready to become an independent member of society. Prepares them for graduation.
