NROC Non-Repeat Offenders Course
NROC is a 16 -20 Hour Court Ordered Course to help educate and prevent those who have committed offenses to understand that repeating Criminal action can lead to Convictions with more severe consequences. This class is designed to help eliminate Repeat Offenders from continued criminal activity.


• Individuals will learn when accused of a crime the amount of time you can serve if convicted for those crimes. They will learn from Recovery Advisor Specialist of the hardship and consequences suffered when convicted of crimes. They will learn how certain offenses affect their lives, families, jobs, credit, housing and more.
• Individuals will learn about opportunities to change their perception of the way life is. They will learn that they are free to make choices and changes, participate in exercises to discover their purpose, learn self-management skills, as well as how to choose whether to be a victim or a survivor. They will also do self-assessments, looking at negative versus positive thinking for change, discovering their strengths and challenges. Some other skills they will learn include ethics, communication, listening and problem-solving.
• Individuals will complete the course with written answers to questions showing knowledge and full understanding of what can happen when an individual participates or chooses to continue committing criminal offenses. They will also be answering questions about what can happen if they choose to use the life skills and thinking tools they have been provided through this course.
